Prof. Dr. Akif Albayrak is a distinguished orthopedics and traumatology specialist with expertise in spine surgery, practicing in Istanbul. Born in Sakarya in 1980, he graduated from Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine in 2005. He immediately began his orthopedics residency at Baltalimanı Bone Hospital and earned his specialist title in 2010.
Academic Career & Professor Title
After completing his residency, Dr. Albayrak served as Chief Resident at Baltalimanı Bone Hospital from 2010 to 2016, completing his mandatory service. He earned his Associate Professor (Doçent) title in 2016. He worked as an Associate Professor and Teaching Faculty Member at Health Sciences University's 1st Orthopedics Clinic at Baltalimanı until 2020. In February 2025, he achieved the PROFESSOR (Profesör) title from Rumeli University.
