Op. Dr. Ali Duman is an Aesthetic, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon in Istanbul. He graduated from Hacettepe University (English Medicine, 1997), trained in vascular & microsurgery in Utrecht and Dresden, and became a PRAS specialist at Haydarpasa Numune Hospital (2003). He served at Gölcük Naval Hospital (2004–2005) and developed the Thread Punch™ hair transplant system (2007). Since 2016 he consults at Zorlu Center, offering advanced surgical and minimal‑invasive aesthetic procedures.
About Op. Dr. Ali Duman
Born in 1973 in Stuttgart, Germany. After graduating from Ankara Ataturk Anatolian High School (1991), he completed Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine (English Program) in 1997. He received vascular surgery and microsurgery training in Utrecht (Netherlands) and Dresden (Germany) in 1994–1995. In 2003 he completed his residency in Aesthetic, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Istanbul Haydarpasa Numune Research & Training Hospital with a thesis on capsular contracture around silicone breast implants and has multiple national/international publications.
He worked in the PRAS Service of Gölcük Naval Hospital (2004–2005), performing ~500 operations and was honored by the Turkish Naval Forces Command. In 2007 he introduced the Thread Punch™ system in hair transplantation and presented at international meetings. Since 2016, he has been serving patients at his practice in Zorlu Center, Istanbul.
