He enhanced his skills with specialized training in cancer surgery and organ transplant at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, USA, from 2008 to 2009. He achieved first place in the Gastroenterology Surgery Subspecialty Exam in Turkey in 2009 and completed his Gastroenterology Surgery training at Türkiye Yüksek İhtisas Hospital from 2009 to 2012, becoming Turkey's youngest Gastroenterology Surgeon in 2012. He was awarded the Professor title in recognition of his contributions.
