About Dr. M. Murat Yildiz
Dr. M. Murat Yildiz was born on April 12, 1965 in Sincan, Ankara. He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Balikesir. He started medical education at Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine in 1982. In 1983, he continued his medical education at Ankara Gulhane Military Medical Academy. After graduating in 1989, he served as an intern physician at Ankara GATA for one year. In 1992, he started his specialization training in Urology at Ankara GATA Urology Department after the TUS exam. He completed his thesis on October 12, 1996 titled "Evaluation of Dynamic and Histological Changes in the Bladder in Fetal Urethral Partial and Total Obstructions" and was appointed as Urology Specialist. Between 2003-2009, he completed his PhD in Pharmaceutical Microbiology at Ankara University Health Sciences Institute, Faculty of Pharmacy. He retired from military service in February 2005. Between 2005-2018, he worked as a Urology Specialist at Private Lokman Hekim Etlik Hospital in Ankara. Between 2014-2015, he established a Tubitak entrepreneur company at Ankara Hacettepe Teknokent and produced Turkey's first antibiotic-coated silicone testicular prosthesis. Between 2018-2020, he served as Head of Pharmaceutical Microbiology Department at Private Lokman Hekim University Faculty of Pharmacy. Between 2017-2019, he completed Traditional Complementary Medicine/Holistic-Integrative Medicine training at Yildirim Beyazit University. Currently, he practices Urology and Traditional Complementary Medicine/Holistic-Integrative Medicine at his private clinic in Ankara.
