After completing two years of mandatory service, he began his specialty training in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in Ankara, becoming a specialist in 1991.
Dr. Torkut's career spans multiple prestigious institutions. After completing military service in Ankara, he started private practice and simultaneously worked at state hospitals for approximately 6 years. In 1997, he relocated to Istanbul and maintained his private practice until 2011, when he joined the founding team of Private Esteworld Hospital.
