Prof. Dr. Ahter Tayyar - OB/GYN & IVF Expert
Prof. Dr. Ahter Tayyar is a highly accomplished Obstetrics, Gynecology and IVF specialist practicing in Istanbul. Born in Kayseri in 1985, she completed her primary and middle school education at TED Kayseri College and high school at Kayseri Nuh Mehmet Baldöktü Anatolian High School. She took her first step toward becoming a physician by entering Başkent University Faculty of Medicine in 2002, graduating in 2008.
Medical Training & Specialization
Dr. Tayyar began her residency as a research assistant in the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department of Erciyes University Faculty of Medicine after passing the medical specialty exam with her first choice in 2008. She became a specialist in 2013.
International Training - King's College Hospital
In 2015, Dr. Tayyar received training in risky pregnancy management at King's College Hospital, Department of Obstetrics, Harris Birthright Research Center For Fetal Medicine in London under the guidance of Prof. Nicolaides Kypros, a world-renowned expert in fetal medicine.
Chief Resident Achievement
In 2015, Dr. Tayyar passed the Chief Resident (Başasistan) examination with honors and began working with the Chief Resident position at Zeynep Kamil Women and Children's Diseases Training and Research Hospital. During this period, she completed her IVF (Assisted Reproductive Medical Applications) training at Şişli Memorial Hospital.
Associate Professor & IVF Expertise
In 2018, Dr. Tayyar earned the Associate Professor (Doçent) title. She worked at Acıbadem Maslak Hospital IVF Center for 2 years, gaining extensive IVF experience. From 2020 to 2022, she worked at Medicalpark Hospitals Group IVF Centers. During this time, she served as a faculty member at Bahçeşehir University Medical Faculty, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Current Practice
Since 2022, Dr. Tayyar has been continuing her work at her own clinic in Suadiye, Istanbul. She is also a faculty member at Üsküdar University Medical Faculty, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
